Grave Digger

Grave digger, when you dig my grave, could you make it shallow so that I can feel the rain..
Walking along the dark road that is life, a light here, a few voices there, I must always remember that eventually I walk on…
But this journey has the most unexpected and vividly colorful experiences for me along the way.
For that I love it, and no matter how dark it gets or how never-ending it may get, I walk on, undeterred.
For that, walking is too hard and I run… so I can see more, live more each day..
Till I realize I left everyone behind. Do I go back so I can walk beside them or do I keep running till I find someone who’ll run with me?
I no longer know why I run.. To stay ahead? To escape? To reach? To just be alone?
All I know is that this here is beautiful and I must hold on, but it’s a journey so I run.. I’m trying to hold on to time, to life.
But it will end and I will be gone
So grave digger, when you dig my grave, could you make it shallow so that I can feel the rain..
